Other responsibilities of a Java/J2EE Developer include delivering development tasks while meeting deadlines. The developer will have to work efficiently in a team environment, and equally efficient alone and unsupervised. The Java/J2ee Developer must think logically and pay close attention to detail.
Often qualifications, skills and experience levels of a Java/J2EE Developer include:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or equivalent
- Knowledge of and experience in UNIX and Windows
- At least 8 years software development experience including at least 4 years experience coordinating large-scale software development teams

- Solid experience with full life-cycle development, object-oriented analysis and design, UML. XML, software version control, software testing and coding standards and practices.
